My name is Katrina Mallette, and I am a registered social worker and social service worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I have a Master's of Social Work with a minor in Psychology.
I provide both in-person and virtual therapy to individuals across Ontario. My practice focuses on supporting survivors of domestic abuse, coercive control, and relational trauma. I am committed to creating a safe, compassionate, and empowering space where clients can process their experiences, strengthen self-trust, and move toward healing. I am also experienced in supporting neurodivergent adults who have experienced these forms of abuse, recognizing the unique challenges and impacts that trauma can have on their well-being and relationships.
I draw from both my professional and personal experiences to support all individuals experiencing relational trauma. I am committed to creating a safe, collaborative, and trauma-informed space where clients can safely explore the impact of past and present experiences, strengthen self-trust, build self-esteem, reclaim their identities, and begin healing.
On a personal note, I am the mother of four wonderfully unique neurodiverse children and the stepmother of one inspirational neurotypical child. I am also a survivor. Making change can be difficult and often scary, but through commitment and hard work, healing and strength come.
I would be honoured to accompany you on that journey!
