Areas of Competence

I provide therapeutic support to children, teens, adults, and families experiencing the following: Parenting challenges, Anxiety, Depression, Self-esteem, Emotional regulation, Interpersonal problems, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Neurodiversity, Grief and loss, Self-harm, Oppositional behaviours, and Trauma (including neglect, bullying, emotional abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse, and difficult family experiences).

One size does not fit all, therefore, I use a client-centered integrative approach which may include:

Turning Point offers a variety of convenient ways for us to connect. You may choose from in-person, video, or phone sessions.

Rates

My rate is $175/hour. Sessions include 50 minutes of therapy time and 10 minutes for documentation. Payment can be made by cash, e-transfer, and credit card.

Insurance Coverage

As a registered social worker, my services are covered by most extended health insurance plans. Please confirm your coverage with your insurance provider. Sorry, we do not offer direct billing.

The fees for counselling services from a registered social worker are exempt from GST/HST and constitute a tax-deductible medical expense. Therefore, on your annual tax form, you can claim the portion of your fees that were not covered by your extended health insurance plan.
