Areas of competency
I provide psychotherapeutic support to survivors of domestic abuse, coercive control, and relational trauma.
I have specialized knowledge and competency in supporting neurodivergent adults who have experienced domestic abuse, coercive control, and relational trauma, with an understanding of the unique ways trauma can impact emotional well-being, relationships, communication, and self-advocacy.

I use an integrative approach, which may include:

Turning Point offers a variety of convenient ways for us to connect. You may choose from in-person, video, or phone sessions.
RATES
My rate is $180/hour. Sessions are 60 minutes, including 10 minutes for documentation. If you feel a longer session is needed, I offer 90-minute and 120-minute sessions, again including a 10-minute allowance for paperwork.
Payment can be made by e-transfer or credit card (credit cards are added and used on the Jane App only).
INSURANCE COVERAGE
As a registered social worker, my services are covered by most extended health insurance plans. Please confirm your coverage with your insurance provider. Sorry, we do not offer direct billing.
The fees for counselling services from a registered social worker are exempt from GST/HST and constitute a tax-deductible medical expense. Therefore, on your annual tax form, you can claim the portion of your fees that were not covered by your extended health insurance plan.
